Im looking forward to that option that lets you be in any alliance with any race. Thats good. Quite honestly, that was really the only problem with the game I had. I mean sure, it's common for MMO games to have Alliance specific Races, but I've always disliked that |

Well, at least I get to play as a Dark Elf no matter what. So, do I get the "play as any race" option if I pre-order from Gamestop?

Yes. Although technically to play "any race" as in any race you want, will require you to get the Imperial Edition since that is 'currently' the only known way to play as an Imperial for now.
